The home was constructed as a split-level home to optimise the sloping block and provide ample space for growing children. It was designed specifically to optimize the natural light all year round.
The design consisted of four bedrooms, three bathrooms, and two living areas, while the outdoor decking area was ideal for entertaining and kids’ playtime.
The home boasts a variety of unique features that set it apart, such as the breathtaking view of greenery and native trees visible from every window. These unique touches make the home a special place, where the family can enjoy the benefits of both simplicity and individuality.
Additionally, the design is practical, functional, and energy-efficient incorporating features to reduce energy usage and save costs. The focus of the project was on increasing the building envelopes performance for optimal energy efficiency. To achieve this, a pro clima weather-resistant barrier was installed, followed by battening the walls to create an air cavity and then cladding with Axon cement sheet which reduces the heat transfer into the home.
