Heidi and I checked out a lot of builders to help us build our off grid, BAL29 house in Healesville. After months of frustration with the council we were looking for a builder with similar values to us. No bullshit, straightforward, honest! You will find a lot of people who are out for what they can get. Tom at Coy’s Constructions is a good businessman without the need to rip you off. I was onsite nearly every day, and saw the attention to detail Tom brings to the site. His values were echoed by the sub contractors he uses and any others he recommended to us.

I have no doubt our house is solid and will stand the test of time. Even the inspectors commented on the quality of finish and Tom’s commitment to industry standards. We had very few inspectors recommend corrections. I was in business for 40 years and there are very few companies I would recommend as highly as Coy’s Constructions.

Tom and his apprentice worked on our house (circa 1905) in Ascot Vale. He efficiently dealt and resolved issues related to the demolition, removal of internal walls, reblocking, construction and installation of steelwork.

His skills and knowledge of construction was superior, providing great feedback, suggestions and alternatives when requested and needed. Tom communicated effectively and respectfully with the owners, architects, engineer and other tradespeople. He has a quiet and reassuring manner which settles any anxiety or concerns the owners may be experiencing.

He worked within our limited time frame. Tom was always prompt in attending the site and efficiently cleaned up any debris from around the house. We would highly recommend Coy’s Constructions for any building work you may require.

I was referred to you by a friend, he was impressed by the home you present when on site. Clean truck, clean site etc. Then, when I met Tom, I felt we clicked quickly and he is someone I trust and feel I can work well with. Then we looked at the cost of the project and you guys are realistic.
