Hi, I’m Tom Coy the founder and director of Coy’s Constructions, Custom New Home and Renovation Specialists. We thank you for taking the time to visit our website. We take great pride in our work, having developed a highly skilled building company delivering exceptional quality custom homes in the Yarra Valley and outer eastern suburbs of Melbourne.
I established my passion for building after spending a year working and travelling Europe. During this time I worked as a landscaper developing savvy designs for unusual and small outdoor gardens. Upon returning to the Yarra Valley, I commenced a carpentry apprenticeship with a hardworking local builder completing new homes and renovations.
Upon completion of my apprenticeship, Coy’s Constructions was immediately set up continuing to work on new homes, and into a niche of renovations and extensions.
I have always had a passion for sustainable building, and energy efficient homes. I am a registered Green Living Builder through Master Builders, and a Certified Passive House Tradesperson. I have qualifications in Building and Construction and Small Business Management in addition to my Certificate II in Carpentry. I am honored to be awarded Student of The Year and runner up Apprentice of The Year through my studies.

Our focus is on the quality of our energy efficient homes and the building experience for clients. We take on a limited number of jobs each year, within carefully alloted build slots so you can experience the attention you deserve.
Our clients are provided access to their own online client portal, where all communication occurs in the one place. You can view selections, ask questions and be updated on your build 24/7. It is accessible via an app or online. Notifications are made similar to an email but in a more organised fashion.
We are proud to be a registered Master Builders Green Living Builder and members of Master Builders Association Victoria, Australian Passive House Association, Renew and The Association of Professional Builders.
