This renovation involved a seamless extension to an existing weatherboard home, designed to enhance both functionality and aesthetic appeal. The project included the addition of a spacious second living area, a contemporary kitchen, a well-appointed laundry/pantry, and a luxurious ensuite, transforming the home into a more comfortable and stylish living space.

The extension is clad in lightweight Colorbond cladding, providing a contemporary and durable finish that compliments the original weatherboard. The old tiled roof was completely removed and replaced with a sleek new Colorbond roof including new facias and gutters throughout, ensuring long-lasting protection against the elements while enhancing the home's visual appeal.

The extension was added seamlessly by matching the existing timber floors with beautiful recycled timber, a custom steel and glass door was installed to enable zoned living and provides a visual focal point. The feature brickwork in the living space and alfresco adds texture and depth, tying together the interior and exterior of the home.

A standout feature of the extension is the open, light-filled living area, highlighted by feature windows that maximize natural light and provide views of the greenery outside. The raked ceiling creates a sense of volume and space, further enhancing the airy atmosphere of the room with the French double sided fire creating a cosy retreat during the colder months.

The new kitchen offers modern functionality, with a layout that seamlessly integrates into the open-plan design. The luxurious ensuite is defined by floor-to-ceiling tiling, creating a sleek and sophisticated space.

The addition of a new garage not only increases the home's storage capabilities but also includes a striking timber-clad door, adding a natural element to the modern design and tying in with the warm tones of the recycled timber used throughout the extension.
